About Our Truss Plant
United Truss was founded in 1997 to service our valued customers of United Lumber with complete roof truss packages for their building needs. In 2003 we built a new facility in Innisfil Ontario to handle our growing business.
Our experienced team of designers are committed to providing you the best possible solutions for both floor and roof design. We are part of United Lumber who has been in business since 1974 servicing the central part of Ontario with construction materials from its 4 locations.
- United Truss is a privately owned manufacturer of quality engineered roof truss systems.
- The company was founded in 1997 after 23 years in the building supply business. The company had grown to 4 locations throughout central Ontario and our customers had been requesting us to add manufacturing of roof trusses to our product grouping.
- In 2003 United Truss decided to expand to its production by moving to a new site and constructing a new facility that could handle our expanding business. The new building sits on a 7-acre site in Innisfil Ontario and has allowed us to grow into the future as our business grows.
- We are a distributor of not only roof trusses but also engineered wood floor and roof products manufactured by Trus Joist. We sell and support a network of dealers throughout our trading area as well as our 4 lumberyards.

United Truss fabricates with the highest quality materials available to us and is guaranteed to be in excellent condition when they are delivered to your construction site.
We specialize in the custom home and multi family part of the market place. Our team of designers takes the extra time necessary to ensure that your complex project is designed correctly the first time.
We spend many hours with Architects and Engineers in our industry helping them through the many details that must be worked out to ensure your project meets your expectations when complete.
We have the experience to help you get your building permit for your next project. We work with you and your plans examiner to ensure we help you through this important next step towards building your project.
